How To Prepare Easy Bunny Cupcakes ?

Preparation:   

Preparation time: 20 mins

Cooking time: 15 mins

Serving: 6

Ingredients:

• 1 box Pink Velvet Cake Mix
• 1 box Blue Velvet Cake Mix
• 1 box French Vanilla Cake Mix
• 12 eggs - 4 for each cake mix
• Buttermilk for cake mix - replace the amount of liquid on the box (2/3 cup or 1 cup) - splash of vinegar in the measuring cup, fill with milk and let set a couple minutes
• 2 sticks butter - 1 for each cake mix - follow directions on box
• 1/3 cup oil for French Vanilla Cake Mix

   Frosting

• To get really white frosting for bunnies, I used Wilton Ready to use Decorating Icing

   Ears

• Regular size Marshmallows
• Sprinkles - your favorite

   Tails

• Mini Marshmallows
• White Sprinkles

Instructions:

 Cupcakes

1. Combine each of the cake mixes and move to separate bowls until all 3 cake batters are done
2. Add a plastic decorator bag to a tall glass, and fill each with cake batter
3. Add cupcake liners to muffin pan
4. Heat oven to 350 degrees
5. Fill each liner with a small amount of each color of cake batter until about 3/4 full
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
7. Cool completely

 Ears

8. Lay marshmallow on its side and cut diagonally
9. Dip the cut side into sprinkles
10. Set aside

 Tails

11. Dip mini marshmallow in water quickly
12. Immediately add white sprinkles to marshmallow

 Frosting

13. Pipe on frosting or add with an offset spatula
14. Add ears and tails
