As I am a keen griller I often need different ideas to grill on my Lotus Grill. I discovered this easy and delicious recipe that works very well with my Lotus Grill – you will have everyone coming back for more!
You will need :
A Lotus Grill (regular/XL/XXL)
A classic GPF Grill pan
The smokeless Lotus Grill Charcoal
The Lotus Grill gel
Ingredients :
6 Tsp butter
4 cloves garlic
1 Tsp fresh chopped parsley
1 Tsp olive oil
4 pieces steak of your choice
Kalahari Salt and Malabar pepper
250gr prawns (peeled, heads/tails/skin removed)
Instructions :
Mix together butter, garlic and fresh chopped parsley. Refrigerate until ready to use. Prepare your Lotus Grill (about 3-4 minutes) and put your grill pan on the Lotus Grill grid. Brush the steak lightly with oil and generously season with salt and pepper. Grill steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desire. Spread half of the butter all over the steaks. Transfer the steaks to a warm plate and let rest for 5 minutes. While steaks are resting, melt remaining butter. Season prawns with salt and pepper. Then add your prawns to the grill pan and grill for around 5 minutes or until they turn nice and pink in colour. When prawns are ready serve together with your grilled steaks and a salad – delicious Surf and Turf!
